Kilauea, on the Big Island, has been erupting for years, so I thought I should do a volcano painting.  This was accepted by Juror Tom Hoffman for the Hawaii Watercolor Society Members Show this year 2018, and it was awarded Honorable Mention.  It is 15"x22".  Unmatted, unframed $500.00

Watercolor/Collage, "Koi Collage", Arlene G. Woo, Hawaii Artist

Being named "Artist of the Month" by the National Pond Service was good motivation to paint another koi painting.  This time I added hand-dyed paper to suggest water over the bodies of the koi.  The image is 15"x20" -- $400 unmatted, unframed.  Contact me:  Arlene G. Woo 

Flute Player, Mixed Media, Arlene G. Woo Hawaii Artist

The Flute Player was awarded first prize in the Contemporary Fine Arts International Artists Challenge for March 2014 Mixed Media.  You may see my interview on www.cfai.co under Artist Showdown, Colors on my Palette Interview.  I am quite pleased.
This Flute Player was accepted into the Honolulu Japanese Chamber of Commerce "Commitment to Excellence" Art Exhibition.  I used representational images collage pieces along with watercolors and stamping.  The technique was challenging but fun.
