Watercolor, Koi painting, Limpopo, Hawaii Artist, Arlene G. Woo
Painting on Yupo can be lots of fun as long as you are willing "to go with the flow." I think Yupo is perfect for painting koi because the fish as in constant movement. These particular koi are called butterfly koi because of their long fins and tails. 14"x21.75". Limpopo was juried into the Hawaii Watercolor Society Show 2015 by Judge Nicholas Simmons.

Koi Pond, Original Acrylic, Hawaii Artist Arlene G. Woo
This koi painting was inspired by the pond at my granddaughter's school pond. And, I'm proud to say that someone from the school fair purchased it and it provided money to the school. I like the vivid colors of the acrylic. Contact me: Arlene G. Woo Sold

Koi Pond, watercolor on Yupo
Painting on Yupo is an interesting challenge: you cannot layer, at least not very easily. However, it is great for getting a watery look. I was inspired by the koi pond at my granddaughters' school. The image is 10"x14" and may be purchased for $280 through PayPal. contact me: Arlene G. Woo
