A mother peacock and her offspring have been visiting my street for several months.  One morning I saw the male on my neighbot's roof.  I know many people do not like the noise of peacocks, but these two have never been a nuisance.  Of course they have not been on my roof. The Koolau Mountains lie along the midline of Oahu.  Most often they are shades of green and gray.  The task for this painting was to "Not use green".  It was liberating to forget about reality.  Thus, it turned out as an imaginary place.
