Penguins in Hawaii? No, but for some reason I decided to paint them -- from a photo. It was a challenge with the limited palette, but I think I have a story here. 8"x11". Available unframed. Contact me: Arlene G. Woo

Kissing Koi, Acrylic on Canvas, Hawaii Artist, Arlene G. Woo
There is something about koi that attracts me: I think it's their ease in their environment. Some of these are Butterfly Koi from by friend Sheila's pond. I must admit this painting took a while -- not as fast as watercolor on Yupo, but I'm happy with the result. $1200 + shipping. Let me know what you think:

A New Beginning, Watercolor by Arlene G. Woo, Hawaii Artist
This watercolor was inspired at Enchanted lakes where I was doing dog agility training. I loved the intense color of the sky against the mountains at evening. I poured part, painted part, and left part alone. This image was selected by Juror Jan Ledbetter for the Hawaii Watercolor Society Members Show in April. Size: 15 x 22". $700.
