Painting on Yupo can be lots of fun as long as you are willing "to go with the flow." I think Yupo is perfect for painting koi because the fish as in constant movement. These particular koi are called butterfly koi because of their long fins and tails. 14"x21.75". Limpopo was juried into the Hawaii Watercolor Society Show 2015 by Judge Nicholas Simmons.

Kissing Koi, Acrylic on Canvas, Hawaii Artist, Arlene G. Woo
There is something about koi that attracts me: I think it's their ease in their environment. Some of these are Butterfly Koi from by friend Sheila's pond. I must admit this painting took a while -- not as fast as watercolor on Yupo, but I'm happy with the result. $1200 + shipping. Let me know what you think:

Tropical Fruit, Water Media by Hawaii Artist Arlene G. Woo
Mangos, Papayas, and Bananas! Add some grapes and kiwi and you have a refreshing fruit salad. The image was completed with watercolor, a bit of acrylic and some w/c pencil for a light touch.
